There are a lot of high-powered convertibles in the world, but here comes the most powerful and the fastest one. Being a famous Mercedes-Benz tuner, Brabus debuted at this weekend's 24 Hours of Le Mans. The new convertible is based on the Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC.
The German tuner claims, that the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio reaches 100km/h in 3.5sec and 200 km/h in 9.4sec. The top speed is 350 km/h with the roof down. The incredible power is transferred to the wheels due to Mercedes' seven-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
Brabus decided not to stop at the engine. Internal changes have also been made. Brabus developed a new cold air intake system. The interior of the fastest Brabus gets a deep-black Alcantra headliner, carbon fiber trim instead of wood inlays and aluminium components. A Brabus speedometer has been also changed, being marked up to 400 km/h. The price has not been released but it will be announced very soon.
